Parents may need to make choices about evaluations, therapy, #IEP services, school placement, private programs, homeschooling, medical care, and financial support. Those decisions are already emotional. They can become even harder when parents disagree, separate, or divorce.
They discussed how divorce, custody, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, and special education decisions can intersect.
This is not just a conversation for families currently going through divorce. It is also an important reminder that planning ahead can reduce conflict, protect children, and help parents make clearer decisions before a crisis happens.
